We are seeking a dedicated and personable Clinic Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Physical Dimensions. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Clinic Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong ability to multitask. You will be responsible for front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that patient records and administrative tasks are maintained accurately. Additionally, you will collaborate with healthcare providers and other clinic staff to deliver a seamless experience for our patients. This role demands a proactive and empathetic approach, as you will be assisting individuals seeking health and wellness services. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while managing the all providers’ calendar.
- Answer phones, handle inquiries and respond to patient questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update patient records and ensure confidentiality of all information.
- Collect and process payments for services rendered, as well as handle insurance verification.
- Coordinate with providers and other office staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Handle clinic administrative tasks and provider administrative support tasks.
- Manage the waiting area and maintain a clean and organized reception space.
- Maintain cleaned and stocked treatment rooms.
- Maintain clean retail shelves.
- Be able to speak to all services and products within the clinic to ensure excellent patient experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in other administrative roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for customer service.
Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
