Lead Painter - Drywall & Finishing Specialist
Connor Painting is looking for an experienced Lead Painter with strong drywall finishing skills to join our growing commercial and industrial painting team.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing exceptional finishes and can confidently handle everything from small drywall repairs to full skim coating and Level 5 finishes. If you're a skilled craftsman who enjoys leading others while delivering high quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Lead a painting crew while maintaining a safe, productive, and professional jobsite
- Perform commercial painting including surface preparation, brushing, rolling, and spraying
- Complete drywall repairs including patching, taping, mudding, sanding, skim coating, and texture matching
- Deliver high quality finishes that meet Connor Painting's standards
- Train and mentor crew members
- Communicate with Project Managers and customers throughout the project
- Follow OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial painting experience
- Extensive drywall finishing experience required
- Experience with drywall patching, skim coating, texture matching, and Level 4/5 finishes
- Previous crew leadership experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
