Wheelhouse is the newest concept from the Georgetown Events Hospitality Group, opening in Chevy Chase. Designed as a full-service restaurant and bar, Wheelhouse brings together great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and genuine hospitality to create a neighborhood go-to.

Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards

Weigh, measure, and prep ingredients with accuracy and consistency

Cook a variety of foods including meats, seafood, vegetables, and sauces using proper techniques (grill, sauté, fry, etc.)

Maintain strong attention to presentation by arranging and garnishing dishes properly

Ensure all food and ingredients meet freshness and quality standards

Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and timing

Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout service

Follow all sanitation, food safety, and health code regulations

Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and tools

Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service

Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred

Strong understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques

Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency across dishes

Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Culinary training or degree preferred, but not required

Ability to stand for extended periods
