We are looking to add sales driven and friendly individuals that can help customers find exactly what they need! In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, showcase exclusive product, and create a welcoming shopping environment. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive sales, support store operations, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your retail experience while making a positive impact on our community.
This is a position with opportunities to advance and get into management. In this fast paced setting, you’ll also have the opportunity to make hourly and commission. The more you hustle, the more you’ll earn!
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment
- Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ensuring shelves are replenished promptly
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support store supervision by creating a positive team environment amongst other sales associates and customers
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings if applicable
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Experience in merchandising and displays
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holiday seasons
- Supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership capabilities within a team setting
- Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally and maintain excellent phone etiquette
- Must be able to work well with others and build trust within a strong team environment
