Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects and construction related service calls from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop and manage project schedules using construction management software.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution.
- Oversee the preparation of construction estimates and ensure accurate budgeting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality work and timely delivery of materials.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and resolve any concerns.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet project deadlines and within budget.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or project coordination is essential.
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and construction estimating practices.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately is necessary for effective project oversight.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have strong ability to muti-task in a fast paced working environment.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is required.
