Warehouse / Van Driver
Job Summary:
We are a specialty products distributor searching for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. We prize speed and accuracy above all else, so we require a Warehouse Worker who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Our company offers a competitive salary and paid time off. We also have an in-house training program for the right applicant.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Prepare orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times.
Must learn to use a pallet jack and forklift.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Once trained in the warehouse, must be willing to make deliveries to customers by driving a van.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Must have a clean DMV license.
Dependable and Reliable.
Current forklift certification a plus.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
