Job Title: DGR Store Manager
Reports to: DGR District Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt (Salary)
Salary range: Not less than $35,568, based on experience

Essential Duties:
· Ensure the profitability of the store’s location through the management of all resources, most especially the other employees, and by maintaining a great working relationship with the missions team and their participants.
· Provide world-class service by addressing the needs of all customers.
· Promote donations from the community by using all resources available.
· Promote Goodwill within the community to enhance its public image and to obtain support for the furtherance of our mission. Demonstrate commitment to the highest standards possible in relationships with internal and external associates.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble, manage, and nurture a team of employees focused on improving sales and providing world-class customer service in conformance with Goodwill of South Central Ohio’s policies and procedures.
Maintain the store’s interior and exterior physical appearance in an attractive manner to increase sales and increase the percentage of return customers. Submit maintenance and IT requests for any issues that need addressed. Alert the Marketing and Communications Coordinator of any signage which may need replaced.
· Collaborate with the Vice President of DGR and DM and execute a production schedule to ensure a constant flow of new goods on the sales floor.
· Collaborate with the Vice President of DGR and DM to develop and execute policies and procedures for the prompt and efficient handling of donations.
· Ensure the proper handling of all monies by adherence to Goodwill of South Central Ohio policies and procedures.
· Bring to the attention of the Vice President of DGR and DM any suggestions or ideas to improve sales, collection of donations or the management of the team.
· Collaborate with the DGR District Manager and Vice President of DGR to promote sales using Facebook, email and/or text messaging. Facebook posts should be made using quality photos highlighting items in the stores at minimum three times a week.
· Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures and suggest changes as needed.
· Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures.
· Stay abreast of developments in the retail sector from outside sources.
· Flexible schedule with availability for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills; oral and written communications skills; systems analysis and evaluation skills.
· Demonstrated ability through prior experience to work and manage all types of people, including those with disabilities. A self-starter who can work independently and as a team player. Able to organize and carry out multiple duties without assistance. Able to deal with stressful situations.
· Pleasant personality and neat appearance.
· Demonstrated advanced proficiency with computers and software programs, such as Excel, Word, and cloud-based software. Experience with the Solutions and other point-of-sale systems a plus.
· Demonstrated advanced proficiency with a smartphone and apps, most especially messaging and social media such as Facebook.
· Must pass Goodwill-approved drug test. Will be subject to the company’s random drug testing procedures.
· Must pass a Goodwill-approved criminal background check and not appear on any government registries that track abusers or other such offenses.
Education and or Experience:
· High school diploma or GED
· Degree in business or related field. Extensive experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stoop, bend, reach over your head, climb ladder, and lift 25 pounds.
