Gaslight Village Apartments, a 406 multi-family apartment community, located in South Weymouth, MA is seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician.
The qualified candidate will have a working knowledge of apartment turnovers, general heating systems, electrical systems, plumbing repair and carpentry.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Preparing make ready vacant apartments for occupancy
· Resolve daily work order requests from residents and staff
· Perform both routine and preventative maintenance services in apartments and common areas including minor repairs that do not require the need for a license in the following areas: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating/air issues
· Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair
· Perform general maintenance
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Must have own hand tools
· The ability to lift at least 50 pounds
· Have a valid driver’s license and live within 15 miles of Weymouth, MA
· Must be comfortable communicating with residents in a professional manner
This is a full-time position, with hours between Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30 pm

Experience:
- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
