Duties
- Plan and deliver energetic cheerleading, tumbling, and gymnastics classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate proper techniques for stunts, jumps, flips, and dance routines with safety as a top priority
- Foster a supportive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior management
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and class updates
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols, including first aid procedures and AED operation when necessary
- Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness of the training area, and prepare materials for each session
- Lead by example in demonstrating sportsmanship, discipline, and enthusiasm to motivate participants
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is highly preferred
- Background in cheerleading, gymnastics is advantageous
- Demonstrated team leadership skills in coaching or athletic environments
- Knowledge of health club operations or gym experience is a plus
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; AED operation training preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive student engagement
- Experience teaching physical education or working with youth in childcare or educational settings is beneficial
