About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Grocery Store Manager to join our independent grocery store in Key Largo, Florida.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands the day-to-day demands of running a grocery store and takes pride in keeping operations organized, efficient, and customer-focused.
The ideal candidate has grocery management experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to lead a team while staying involved in the daily operation of the store.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily store operations
- Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate employees
- Maintain excellent customer service and a welcoming shopping environment
- Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory control
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and proper rotation
- Help control labor, inventory, and operating costs
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and appearance
- Ensure company policies and food-safety standards are followed
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Monitor sales and identify opportunities to improve store performance
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Assist with merchandising, displays, pricing, and promotions
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure the store is properly covered
- Lead by example and work alongside the team when needed
- Help ensure a safe, productive, and positive workplace
Qualifications
- Previous grocery store management experience required
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of grocery store operations
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working hands-on with employees and customers
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Pay: $24.00 - $30.37 per hour
