Job Overview
Amherst Logistics is expanding our delivery network and seeking reliable drivers for our Alternative Vehicle program. This unique program allows you to deliver packages using qualifying personal vehicles. In this job, you will be delivering small packages using your personal vehicle. This is a great opportunity for consistent full-time or part-time income.
Driver Qualifications
- Driver Age Limit: You must be over 21 years of age.
- Driving Experience: You must have at least one (1) year of licensed driving experience..
- Compliance: You must possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record and be able to pass a standard background check.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages on routes using mobile devices to optimize delivery times and customer satisfaction
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism and a friendly attitude
- Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Experience adhering to traffic laws, safety protocols, and route schedules in a fast-paced environment
