Job Description: Personal Training Director
Steel Fitness Premier is looking for a Personal Training Director that is business development driven. This role focuses on driving revenue by developing trainers, ensuring high-quality client experiences, and overseeing daily operations of the personal training program that includes 1 on 1 and Group Training. Must have a passion for business and program development and leadership as well as having a high energy approach to department growth. Project management, vision and exceptional organization skills are a must.
This role includes a competitive base salary of $45,000 with an attractive commission and bonus structure with potential to make over $70,000.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive personal training sales and membership upgrades
- Develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, retention, and conversion rates
- Conduct fitness consultations and close training packages
- Actively participate in social media with educational, promotional, and creative content.
- Event based marketing events
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise personal trainers
- Develop staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and continuing education
- Foster a positive, motivating team culture
- Schedule staff and manage workload distribution
3. Client Experience & Retention
- Ensure exceptional service and results for all personal training clients
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor client progress and satisfaction
- Implement retention programs and engagement strategies
4. Program Development
- Design and oversee training programs and service offerings
- Ensure trainers deliver safe, effective, and personalized workouts
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices
5. Operations & Administration
- Manage departmental budgets and financial performance
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, revenue, and staff performance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Oversee equipment usage and maintenance
- Additional duties assigned by Club Directors
Pay: $45,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
