About the Role
We are seeking an Experienced Pool Cleaning Technician to join our growing service team. CUA Pools serves primarily commercial properties—apartment communities, HOAs, and multifamily sites—across DFW. This role is focused on routine pool cleaning, water chemistry, and maintenance (not equipment repair). You'll be assigned a route of commercial properties and responsible for keeping pools clean, balanced, and safe between visits, while flagging any equipment issues you notice for our repair team to address.
Responsibilities
- Clean pool surfaces, tile, and decks; skim, brush, and vacuum as needed
- Test and balance water chemistry to meet health code and safety standards
- Empty pump baskets and clean skimmers
- Document each visit, chemical readings, and any equipment concerns using our proprietary mobile app
- Communicate professionally with property managers and on-site staff
- Maintain a stocked, organized service vehicle and follow proper safety and PPE protocols when handling pool chemicals
- Identify and report equipment issues (pumps, filters, heaters) to the repair team rather than repairing them directly
Prerequisites
Must be efficient, organized, personable, poised, and well-groomed.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience cleaning and maintaining pools
- Strong working knowledge of water chemistry and chemical balancing
- Comfortable identifying basic equipment issues, even if not performing repairs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week
