Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Ministry Coordinator specializing in Fund Development and Community Engagement to join our team. This paid role is vital in cultivating meaningful relationships within the community, expanding our outreach efforts, and driving strategic fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about reaching children with the Gospel, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to building partnerships that advance our mission. As a key member of our organization, you will lead efforts to increase donor engagement, manage fundraising campaigns, and coordinate impactful community events that foster growth and support.
Duties
Fund Development
· Develop sustainable funding strategies.
· Build relationships with current donors.
· Cultivate prospective donors.
· Transition one-time donors into Kingdom Partners (recurring contributors).
· Collaborate on newsletters and donor communications.
· Participate in grant writing.
· Secure event sponsorships.
· Maintain donor records.
Community Engagement
· Represent CEF at churches and community events.
· Attend Kingdom Business Alliance meetings twice monthly (Christian networking group).
· Develop ministry partnerships.
· Serve as a ministry ambassador.
Event Management
· Plan and execute two fundraising events annually.
· Coordinate volunteers, logistics, sponsors and follow-up.
Administrative
· Track fundraising progress.
· Attend staff meetings.
· Follow CEF policies.
· Use Microsoft Office and social media effectively.
Qualifications
· Mature Christian with a demonstrated love for Jesus Christ.
· Active in a local Bible-believing church.
· Supports CEF's purpose and policies (https://www.cefmanasota.com/mca)
· Strategic, relational, and self-motivated.
· Professional communication and organizational skills.
· Experience in fundraising, networking, and event planning.
· Experience in transitioning networking connections into donors.
· Possess leadership qualities as found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
· Love the local church and other Christian organizations and value them as ministry partners.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
