Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist in food preparation, including handling light cooking, assembling food items, and maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure all food safety sanitizing procedures are followed rigorously to uphold health standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including cleaning equipment, counters, and dining areas in accordance with food safety management protocols
- Handle weight-based food items and ingredients carefully to ensure consistency and quality
- Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any special dietary needs or requests
- Maintains a neat, professional appearance; including wearing appropriate work attire (Closed-toe, non-slip shoes for safety. Hair tied back if long, non - ripped pants) and limiting excessive jewelry or accessories for safety and hygiene.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and sanitizing protocols is essential
- Experience with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems will be advantageous
- Strong communication skills combined with basic math abilities are necessary for processing transactions and managing orders effectively
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or dietary aide roles adds valuable insight into diverse food industry operations
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
