Job Summary
Seasonal summer fry cook at a busy drive in restaurant. Part to full time availability. Must be able to work in fast paced kitchen. flexible scheduling available. Open through October. Experience wanted but not necessary.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines to deliver flavorful dishes every time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Clean kitchen at the end of night.
- Inventory and deliveries
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal to prevent cross-contamination or spoilage.
- Support the overall food service operation by assisting with meal preparation, plating, and serving when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders in a lively restaurant environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.
- Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining settings, especially with food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling safety standards are essential.
- Experience with menu planning, catering, and meal preparation enhances your suitability for this role.
- Familiarity with food industry best practices related to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
