Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects across multiple locations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams on multiple job sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics management across different locations.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation.
- Manage project schedules.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards on all sites.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure work meets specified standards and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Review contracts, change orders, and budgets; assist in cost control measures to keep projects financially on track.
- Supervise crew management activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and safety training.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to construction regulations.
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
Skills
- Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a proven track record of supervising large teams across multiple sites.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents accurately.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols.
- Skilled in managing contracts, change orders, budgets, and project documentation efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage client relationships professionally.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments while maintaining high standards of quality control and safety compliance.
- Competence in using construction management software like Bluebeam Revu, and HeavyBid for estimating or budgeting tasks.
- Strong crew management skills including supervising subcontractors and labor crews while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- 5-10 years heavy equipment operating experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
