THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
As a Lead HVAC Installation Technician, you’ll be the cornerstone of our installation projects, leading your team to deliver comfort and quality to homeowners across Vancouver. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the installation of HVAC and complete comfort systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits, ensuring every project meets Revival’s high standards.
- Team Coordination: Direct and mentor a team of technicians and apprentices, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
- System Precision: Install and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, from ductwork to thermostats, ensuring flawless performance and compliance with industry standards and local codes.
- Customer Connection: Engage with homeowners, explaining processes, addressing concerns, and building trust with clear, professional communication.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and final inspections to guarantee efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Site Excellence: Lead by example, ensuring job sites are prepped, organized, and left cleaner than you found them.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Experience: 4-5 years as an HVAC Installation Technician, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Certifications: Valid EPA certification (Universal preferred); NATE certification is a plus.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and advanced controls.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and mentor junior technicians.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Comfort lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working in varied environments—attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred.
- Mindset: A detail-oriented, problem-solving leader with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
