As a vital member of our clinical team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients calling with medical questions or concerns. Working closely with our providers, you will gather patient information, communicate provider recommendations, coordinate follow-up care, and help ensure every patient receives timely, compassionate, and high-quality care. Responsibilities
- Answer patient phone calls and respond to patient messages.
- Gather and document patient symptoms and concerns in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Communicate patient concerns to providers and relay provider recommendations and instructions to patients.
- Notify patients of lab and test results as directed by providers.
- Coordinate appointments and follow-up care as needed.
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed by providers.
- Recognize urgent patient concerns and promptly notify the appropriate provider.
- Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely, efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinical team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a medical office is preferred.
- Previous OB/GYN or women's health experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
