ield Manager – Delivery OperationsReports To: General ManagerSalary: $50,000–$60,000 annuallyBenefits: Mileage reimbursement, company-issued cell phone, company-issued laptopPosition SummaryThe Field Manager is responsible for supporting daily field operations by ensuring delivery teams execute safely, professionally, and in accordance with company and customer standards. This position serves as an extension of the General Manager in the field, spending the majority of time coaching delivery teams, conducting ride-behinds, completing compliance audits, and driving operational execution.The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about developing teams while improving customer experience, operational performance, and compliance.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct ride-behinds with low-performing delivery teams and document observations.Complete ride-behind evaluation forms and provide coaching with measurable action plans.Follow up with teams to ensure sustained improvement after coaching.Audit driver and helper compliance, including required documentation, certifications, uniforms, PPE, and safety requirements.Perform truck compliance inspections to ensure vehicles meet company, DOT, and customer standards for cleanliness, maintenance, equipment, and safety.Verify delivery teams are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Scope of Work (SOW).Coach delivery teams on professionalism, customer communication, installation quality, damage prevention, and overall customer experience.Attend morning load-outs and evening check-ins as business needs dictate to observe operations, verify compliance, support field execution, and identify coaching opportunities.Identify operational trends and recommend corrective actions to improve LTR, completion, safety, compliance, and execution.Partner with the General Manager, Dispatch, Operations Managers, and Contractors to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.Submit accurate ride-behind forms, inspection reports, compliance documentation, and coaching reports within required timelines.Support investigations related to customer complaints, property damage, service failures, and policy violations.Conduct random field audits and store visits as directed.Assist with onboarding and field training of new delivery teams.Maintain regular communication with the General Manager regarding performance trends, compliance findings, and opportunities for improvement.Qualifications2+ years of operations, logistics, transportation, delivery, or field management experience preferred.Experience coaching frontline employees, contractors, or delivery teams.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to travel daily throughout assigned markets.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of DOT regulations and delivery operations.Experience conducting operational audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to influence performance through coaching, accountability, and follow-up.Compensation & EquipmentAnnual Salary: $50,000–$60,000Mileage reimbursement for business travelCompany-issued cell phoneCompany-issued laptopPerformance ExpectationsSuccess in this role will be measured by:Improvement in low-performing delivery team performanceCompletion and quality of ride-behind evaluationsDriver and helper compliance scoresTruck compliance audit resultsReduction in customer complaints and property damageImprovement in LTR, completion, safety, and execution metricsTimely completion and submission of required reports, audits, and corrective action plansThis is a field-based position requiring frequent travel throughout the assigned market. The Field Manager will serve as the General Manager’s representative in the field, ensuring delivery teams execute safely, consistently, and in accordance with company standards while driving continuous operational improvement.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
