The Housekeeping Associate performs housekeeping tasks, such as emptying general trash and cardboard hoppers, as well as general shop cleaning (i.e., sweeping, mopping, and operating floor scrubber). He/she will maintain a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required. Tasks will be performed within a warehouse or plant environment, ensuring compliance within the facility as it relates to quality, productivity, safety and security.
Responsibilities

Inspects for proper packaging, stacking, and labeling according to specifications; removing trash, damaged pallets, cardboard, etc. from the production areas as needed

Cleans daily all assigned areas of the shop
Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High motivated, disciplined problems-solver/troubleshooter
Strong ethics and ability to work in team environment Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
