Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Massage Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver specialized massage therapy services tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on pain relief, injury recovery, and overall wellness. Duties
- Deliver various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, Sports Massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and muscular tension.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions.
- Educate patients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate occupational health strategies for ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans for patients with complex or chronic conditions.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Medical Massage Therapist or in a related therapeutic role within a medical or med spa setting.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices.
- Skilled in advanced massage techniques including deep tissue massage/ Sports Massage and trigger point therapy/ CUPPING (Desired not required)/ Acupressure (Shiatsu)
- Experience with patient assessment, pain management strategies, and occupational health protocols.
- Prior work in med spas or healthcare clinics is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with clinical environments.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a genuine commitment to patient service excellence.
