Purchasing/Data Entry Administrator – Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Purchasing and Data Entry Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will support the Director of Planning and Purchasing by entering purchase orders, maintaining the ERP Style Master system the companies. This position requires strong data accuracy and solid communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Order & Style Master Administration
- Enter and manage customer make-up orders and inventory stock orders to fulfill independent and E-Commerce channels.
- Enter confirmed production orders, assign required x-factory dates and due dates.
- Link Production POs to Sales Orders accurately.
- Set up and maintain factories in the ERP system.
- Assign UPC codes and Style-Color (stock numbers) in the system with 100% accuracy.
- Ensure all necessary supporting data is entered into the BlueCherry Style Master, enabling smooth sales and production order processing.
- Setup and maintain support tables across all 4 brands in 3 divisions (companies).
- Ensure segregation of Canadian inventory by entering Canadian buys with the “CANSTK” label code where appropriate.
- Liaison with Costing and Importing Departments to finalize Style Master setups.
- Act as the primary liaison between China Operations/Factories and the NY office regarding production orders.
- Work collaboratively with the CO-Purchasing Administrator and support the Director of Planning and Purchasing.
- Collaborate with Salespeople and Designers to create new Styles in the ERP system as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous data entry experience within the footwear or apparel industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; prior hands-on knowledge or experience with BlueCherry ERP (Classic) is a major plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively decipher and reply to emails from a diverse population
- Organization: Extremely high level of attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills. Capable of handling complex style-color matrices and multi-company data without errors.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
