Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload shipments efficiently
- Perform order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) and manual methods to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure machinery remains in optimal working condition
- Assist with warehouse management activities such as inventory counts, stock replenishment, and materials handling
- Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries
- Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with supervisors on load & unload schedules and ensuring timely delivery
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload procedures
- Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting of forklifts or similar machinery
- Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management best practices is a plus
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
