Hours:
This is a part-time, seasonal position with work responsibilities occurring during the market season (before – April/May and during – June through September) with minimal work required in the off-season.
Must be available to work every Sunday from the beginning of June through the end of September from 8:15 am sharp to 3:30 pm.
Additional work hours during the week are flexible.
Compensation:
$15 - $20 /hr based upon experience
Northfield Township is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to serve as the Farmers Market Assistant Manager for Whitmore Lake Farmers Market. The market is held every Sunday from 10:00am – 2:00pm starting the first Sunday in June and ending the last Sunday in September at the Northfield Township Community Park. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about local food, community engagement, and small business support. The Farmers Market Assistant Manager will help oversee all aspects of market operations, vendor coordination, marketing, and community outreach to ensure a vibrant and welcoming marketplace under the direction of the Farmers Market Manager.
