Founded in 2014, Zywie Healthcare is an innovative cardiac monitoring company dedicated to transforming patient care through advanced technology. We record and transmit patients' EKGs using holter monitors, event monitors, and mobile cardiac telemetry (MCT) devices — empowering physicians' offices and hospitals with complete control over cardiac monitoring.
As a recognized trendsetter in remote cardiac monitoring, we are expanding beyond traditional device services to become the gold standard in patient-centered cardiac care. We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented professionals to help us achieve this mission.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily of clinical services within the organization, ensuring that all activities align with Zywie's mission to deliver high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for managing clinical supervisors and staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across the Clinical Department.
In addition to departmental oversight, the Clinical Manager monitors patient outcomes and satisfaction, using data to drive continuous improvements in service delivery, and manages the department's budget and resource allocation. This role involves close collaboration with other departments to strengthen interdisciplinary communication and foster a cohesive, high-performing work environment. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Manager is essential in leading initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and strategic direction of clinical operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Leadership & People Management

Manage and mentor clinical supervisors and staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development

Monitor supervisor and staff performance, providing coaching, support, and recognition

Coordinate the employee disciplinary process and follow through to resolution

Complete timely, documented performance reviews for direct reports

Facilitate the ongoing development of staff to ensure Zywie's performance standards are consistently met

Oversee recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and scheduling of clinical employees

Complete biweekly payroll processing for the Clinical Department

Contribute to the strategic management, planning, and leadership of the company
Clinical & Quality

Oversee the daily of clinical services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient care and operational efficiency

Monitor and analyze patient outcomes and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement

Identify areas for improvement in patient care and operational processes and implement quality improvement initiatives

Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the quality management and quality improvement programs for Clinical Services

Track performance metrics and process improvements across the department

Develop and manage the department budget, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation

Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines and Good Clinical Practices
Training & Development

Coordinate with the Clinical Training and Development team on continuing education for existing staff and new hires

Assist in the development and maintenance of the Standard Operating Policy and Procedure Manual and Work Instructions

Provide consultation and direction to the team to ensure programs and services support the highest level of patient care

Provide continuous software enhancement feedback and suggestions to the R&D team to improve software efficiency and user interface, focusing on performance optimization, streamlined workflows, and a simplified end-user experience
Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategy

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication across the organization

Function as a liaison between sales and physician practices

Assist in reviewing and recommending improvements and enhancements to current services and the development of new services

Represent Clinical Operations in leadership discussions and contribute to company-wide planning and decision-making

Assist with all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

Education — Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field required.

Experience
-
Minimum of 5 years of ECG analysis experience required.

Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a 24/7 clinical operations environment required.

Minimum of 3 years of remote cardiac monitoring experience is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and managing performance in a fast-paced healthcare environment is preferred.

Certification — Current Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) and/or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) certification is required.

TECHNICAL & CLINICAL SKILLS

Strong knowledge of EKG/ECG monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and Holter, Event, and MCT recorders

Proficiency in clinical software platforms relevant to cardiac monitoring

Ability to utilize and learn new clinical software and computer applications as required by the role

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Windows operating systems

Working knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and data analysis tools

Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiac and cardiology practices

Familiarity with budget management, payroll processing, and departmental reporting
