Overview
We are seeking a skilled a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be capable of performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building upkeep.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize future issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure the property meets safety and operational standards.
- Work independently and efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must own necessary tools for the job.
- Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC certification or experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
