Maintenance Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine maintenance of the community, including resident apartments, common areas, and grounds.
- Complete work orders for repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Support preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and systems.
- Help maintain cleanliness and safety standards in mechanical, storage, and utility areas.
- Assist with community projects, furniture moves, and event setups as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and promptly report any hazards.
- Interact with residents and staff in a friendly, respectful manner
- MEDICAL TRANSPORT IN COMMUNITY VAN AS NEEDED
Maintenance Assistant Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related field (senior living or healthcare setting a plus).
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and respect for working in residents’ homes.
- Willingness to be flexible with scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends
