Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence and functional abilities.
- Assist with the evaluation of patients to determine their current level of functioning and establish goals for therapy.
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging to understand the impact of injuries or conditions on functional abilities.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols for treating work-related injuries or conditions.
- Experience in Post-Acute/skilled Nursing setting to provide specialized care to patients with complex medical needs.
- Understanding of geriatric occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Experienced in NetHealth/Rehab Optima preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
