Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and providing personalized product recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, including flower, vapes, concentrates, edibles, and accessories.
- Stay knowledgeable on current inventory, new products, promotions, and industry trends.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all state and company regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and display areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock products, and assist with merchandising efforts.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
- Remain attentive to customer needs and proactively enhance the guest experience throughout their visit.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or cannabis is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for helping people.
- Ability to build rapport and foster long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent attentiveness, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, consumption methods, and effects, or willingness to learn.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and inventory counts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
