American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience for a cardiovascular operating room travel assignment.

Work in a high-tech OR department featuring 26 surgical suites performing both inpatient and outpatient procedures
-
CVOR serves a diverse patient population spanning neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups

Procedures performed include CABG, MVR/AVR/TVR, robotic MVR (RMVR), robotic AVR (RAVR), aortic dissections, aneurysm repairs, root replacements, TAVRs, and laser lead extractions — heart transplants are not performed

Schedule is 4 x 10-hour day shifts per week

Call coverage involves a 2-person team with expectations of 1–2 call nights per week and 1 weekend of call per month

Floating to the main OR (MOR) may be required during periods of low CVOR census, as CVOR and MOR share the same cost center

Active NH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Proficiency in scrubbing and/or circulating cardiovascular procedures required

2 manager references required for consideration

Candidate must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position

Candidates should indicate their willingness and ability to float to the MOR when CVOR census is low

The OR department also supports a broad range of surgical services including ENT, orthopedics, neuro, robotics, vascular, thoracic, and more
