We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Per Diem Pharmacist to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient health outcomes while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription Review: Verify and evaluate medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.
- Patient Care & Counseling: Provide consultations, address patient questions, and ensure proper use of compounded medications.
- Customization: Develop tailored formulations to meet the specific needs of patients and providers.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to USP standards, state regulations, and internal SOPs to ensure the highest quality.
- Inventory & Equipment Management: Oversee compounding supplies, monitor stock, and maintain equipment functionality.
- Collaboration: Partner with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective medication delivery.
- Documentation: Utilize Compound 360 for accurate recordkeeping; familiarity with PrimeRX and LifeFile preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
- Licensure: Active, valid pharmacist license in [State], in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $72.00 - $76.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
