This proactive approach helps streamline operations, allowing the team to hit the ground running when the project begins and ensuring a seamless transition from planning to execution.
- Material Management: Confirm that all necessary materials are onsite and correct, and coordinate transportation, if needed.
- Documentation: Take required photos throughout the project for records and office use. Maintain accurate progress notes in the company’s electronic database. Computer skills are required.
- Issue Resolution: Address onsite issues promptly with field supervisors and communicate any necessary changes to customers, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Customer Care: Protect the customer’s property and ensure their satisfaction with the work performed, including managing the punch list items for subcontractor completion.
- Compliance: Meet with municipal inspectors to facilitate necessary inspections and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Clean-Up: Oversee site clean-up and ensure all leftover materials are returned.
- Repairs: Address and document existing issues with Quality or subcontractor performance. Send appropriate work orders to subcontractors so that punchlists are addressed quickly.
