Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily operations in a 35-degree refrigerated warehouse environment, leading a team of 5–6 associates. This role is hands‑on and responsible for workflow coordination, safety, productivity, and equipment operation, including forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Lead, schedule, and direct a team of 5–6 warehouse associates in a cold‑storage environment.
- Oversee receiving, unloading, staging, replenishment, and product movement.
- Maintain productivity targets and ensure accurate, timely completion of all tasks.
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment as needed; support associate training and certification.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all safety policies, cold‑storage PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures.
- Ensure associates dress appropriately for a 35°F environment and follow temperature‑zone protocols.
- Provide daily coaching, feedback, and performance support to associates.
- Assist with onboarding and training new hires.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work full shifts in a refrigerated 35°F environment (company‑provided cold‑gear PPE).
- Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 75 lbs with no restrictions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and operating powered equipment.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience required; prior leadership or lead experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required; certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example.
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work in a fast‑paced, cold‑storage environment.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
