Position: SMT Operator
Location: El Toro, CA
Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $26/hour
Experience/Education:
- 3 years of experience in the SMT industry.

Must be IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and JSTD-001 Certified or have knowledge (minimum of 3 years).
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00pm to 11:00am
HB Staffing is seeking an SMT Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:

Perform preventive maintenance on SMT and Production Equipment.

Independently operate SMT automatic assembly equipment: Screen Printer, SPI, Pick & Place.

Reflow oven to produce high-quality complex circuit board assemblies.

Identify manufacturer’s part number markings on various components.

Set up, read, and understand setup lists, assembly instructions, and assembly notes.

Identify critical component features: Package type and Size.
-
Prepare and load components to feeders.
-
Identify, document, and report non-conforming material.
-
Print solder paste on PCB (from simple parts to 0201, less than 15mil fine pitch and BGA packages).

Identify proper feeder type (8mm x 2mm, 16mm x 8mm, vibratory, etc.).
Position Requirements:

Familiar with the ESD handling procedures of sensitive electronic devices per ANSI/ESDs20.20-2007.

Understanding of ROHS and non-ROHS compliance and compatibility.

Familiar with IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.

Ability to recognize Sn63 and Pb-free solder pastes.

Ability to be trained for equipment maintenance.

Strong computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office.
