Join our team as a Graphic Design, Printing & Laser Operator! In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating visually compelling designs and executing high-quality print and laser projects tailored for the defense industry.
Looking for detail-oriented individual willing to learn on the job. This position contributes to the overall success of our business. Candidates should have a high level of organization and be able to read and interpret work instructions independently. In addition to production, this position is required to work with Corel Draw and other design software to produce high-quality identification labels and nameplate designs.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating the laser engraving and other print-related equipment while maintaining safety, quality and efficient production processes.

Duties
- Operate and maintain advanced printing and laser equipment to produce aerospace-grade components, signage, and visual assets.
- Prepare detailed design files for print production, ensuring color management and print accuracy.
- Set up and operate printing and laser engraving equipment to produce high-quality products.
- Works directly with customers
- Load and arrange all vector artwork using design software
- Measure and verify that engraving is correct to work order
- Troubleshoot issues associated with the printing processes
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all equipment
- Inventory tasks (lifting, packing, arranging, shipping product)
- Maintain safety protocols while operating laser equipment and handling materials used in aerospace applications.
Qualifications, Skills, or to be Developed
- Prefer some college, with minimum of high school diploma.
- High attention to detail and organized
- Experience with or ability to learn new computer software for graphic design such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator or AutoCAD.
- Ability to be trained on all equipment and procedures.
- Ability to learn, reference and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to report to work timely.
- Experience with print design, layout design, typesetting, and production design tailored for high-quality print advertising and signage manufacturing.
- Technical proficiency in laser operation combined with knowledge of sign manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.

Pay: $25.75 - $32.50 per hour
