Overview
All work takes place out of the Soldotna Post Office using your own personal vehicle. We are looking for both a part time, and full time carrier. The full time role can expect 4 to 5 days a week, while the part time role will have 1-2 full days and at least one half day a week. A full day is $200, Half day is $150. Work begins at 6:00AM and ends when the route is completed, though you must be done by 4:30.
Duties
- Sorting and organizing both parcels and packages in the morning.
- Loading and unloading your own vehicle outside.
- Accurately delivering everything within an efficient time.
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Delivery or route driving experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods
- A strong attention to detail
- A reliable personal vehicle
- Your personal vehicle must have at least 150 cubic feet of cargo space available
