Receptionist/Accounting Assistant
Alliance Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Receptionist/Accounting Assistant for immediate hire!
RECEPTIONIST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Screen incoming calls; take messages as appropriate; direct call to correct individual.
· Retrieve messages from answering machine daily and direct messages to appropriate person.
· Greet visitors; notify person(s) being visited.
· Perform simple errands when requested; prepare coffee and do light office housekeeping such as dusting, cleaning glass doors, and emptying restroom garbage daily.
· Monitor office supplies.
· Coordinate special mailings such as Christmas cards and invitations.
· Coordinate company functions such as Christmas party, lunches, etc.
· Coordinate customer hotel accommodations.
· Other duties as assigned.
ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
· Create and send invoices to customers.
· Perform account reconciliations.
· Update PO’s within ERP system to reflect vendor acknowledgement of pricing and ship dates.
· Receive and enter customer payments in accounting system.
· Make bank deposits.
· Track incoming parts on purchase orders.
· Enter bills for vendor PO’s.
· Issue check runs.
· Assist with benefits administration: Insurance, 401k, open enrollment, etc. as needed.
· Assist processing required information for new hires.
· Assist processing required information for exiting employees.
· Other duties as assigned.
