Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting high-quality finishes in residential projects.
Duties
- Perform trim carpentry, including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and door casings.
- Fabricate custom fixtures and cabinetry to meet project specifications.
- Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square to maintain structural integrity.
- Apply caulking and finishing touches to ensure a polished look on all completed work.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of carpentry with other construction elements.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Finish Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Experience with frame carpentry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
- We are willing to train someone with a basic knowledge of remodeling and an eagerness to learn the trade.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
