American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for a day shift travel position requiring at least 1 year of experience in ICU, general floors, and ED settings.

Hospital-based respiratory therapy department
-
Provides cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients
-
Requires experience covering ICU, general floors, and ED
-
Minimal NICU and Peds exposure needed, sufficient to support ED coverage
-
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
-
13-week assignment duration
-
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through the National Board of Respiratory Care
-
License required if applicable
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy
-
Experience in ICU, general floors, and ED required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

Follow medical staff-approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services

Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
-
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas

Perform airway management, ventilator management, intubations, and blood gas analysis
-
Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
-
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
-
Not eligible if candidate has worked as permanent staff at this facility within the past 2 years
