Role Description
This is a flexible schedule and remotely based Salesperson role. The sales representative will develop relationships with pharmacies, clinics, medical offices, healthcare providers, and other referral sources. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing a sales territory, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and providing feedback from the field to internal teams. The Salesperson will also collaborate with marketing and operations on campaigns and sample distribution, and stay current with product knowledge, market trends, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Compensation
This is a commission-based contract sales role with high earning potential.
Compensation includes:
- High commission structure based on closed business.
- Monthly or biweekly draw/advance against future commissions.
- Draw is reconciled against earned commissions.
- Strong performers may earn $175K+ annually, depending on performance, account growth, and closed business.
- This is not a salaried position. The draw against commission is designed to provide support while you build your pipeline and book of business.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with a proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
- Customer relationship management skills, including territory planning and follow-up.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage healthcare professionals and other stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
- Solid understanding of or interest in pharmaceuticals, Rx and OTC products, and basic medical terminology, with the ability to learn complex product information quickly.
- Highly motivated, and goal-oriented, with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently on-site.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales is preferred.
