We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Perform HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair on equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and building automation system diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical systems related to HVAC/R equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems by inspecting components, replacing worn parts, and performing preventive maintenance to optimize performance
- Assist in the design of HVAC solutions tailored to client needs, considering energy efficiency and system longevity
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service visits
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing and HVAC system repair
- Service technician experience working with mechanical systems in commercial or residential environments
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and installation procedures
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment such as ohmmeters
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for installation and repair tasks
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling (EPA 608 Certification) required for refrigeration work
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
