Guided Ability is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently hiring for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an adult male with low support needs. This position is Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with the opportunity for additional hours if desired.
Job responsibilities vary depending on each individual’s needs. Support may include, but is not limited to:
- Assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, and hygiene
- Supporting housework, meal preparation, and budgeting
- Providing transportation, attending community events, and grocery shopping
Qualified candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check
- Complete required online training and CPR/First Aid after hire
- Have basic technology skills
- Be able to write clear and accurate daily documentation
- Maintain valid auto insurance with adequate coverage
