Rough Framing Carpenter – Thelen Total Construction
Thelen Total Construction is an award winning family-owned custom home building company located in Elkhorn Wisconsin. For over 50 years we have earned a reputation for building unique high-end custom homes. We are looking to hire an experienced rough-framing carpenter, and an entry level carpenter/ laborer, willing to learn the construction trade.

Rough Framing Carpenter Applicant:
· Experienced in rough framing of homes
· Experienced in installation of siding and paneling
· Experienced in construction of exterior decks and porches
· Experienced in building structures from home plans, sketches and oral and written instructions
Laborer Applicant:
Under supervisory guidance and oral instruction:
· Maintain an orderly and debris-free job site
· Learn rough framing of homes
· Learn installation of siding and paneling
· Learn construction of exterior decks and porches
· Learn to build structures from home plans, sketches and oral and written instructions
ALL Applicants:
· Reliable transportation to job sites mainly in the Walworth County area
· Able to be at the jobsite and ready to work at 7:00 a.m.
· Able to meet the workday requirements of 9 hour days, Monday-Friday. OT paid after 40 hours
· Have NO fear of heights. Comfortable working above ground on scaffolds, ladders and on roofs
· Able to work in all weather conditions
· Able to read a tape measure
· Able to carry loads of 50+ lbs.
· Experience with power tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
