Join our dynamic hospitality team as a restaurant Manager and become the friendly face that ensures every customer leaves satisfied! In this energetic role, you'll oversee daily operations, lead front-of-house and back-of-house staff, control food and labor costs, and ensure high standards of food safety and guest service. You will balance hands-on shift execution with administrative tasks like scheduling, inventory, and training. Duties
- Operations: Supervise opening and closing procedures, maintain kitchen and counter cleanliness, and manage speed of service during peak hours.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, mentor, and schedule team members. Build a positive workplace culture.
- Financials: Track inventory, place supplier orders, reduce waste, and monitor labor percentages against sales goals.
- Guest Relations: Greet customers, maintain brand standards, and resolve complaints quickly and politely.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce local health codes, food safety regulations, and labor laws
Skills
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of food service management experience, preferably in a fast-casual or high-volume setting.
- Certifications: Valid ServSafe or local food handler manager certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and basic computer tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, active problem-solving, adaptability, and physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
