Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation teams with energy and precision. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all cleaning and sanitation standards are met efficiently and thoroughly
- Lead, motivate, and train staff in proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality standards
- Manage scheduling, assign tasks, and oversee team performance to optimize productivity and morale
- Implement best practices for industrial cleaning, janitorial services, laundry operations, and hospitality housekeeping management
- Communicate effectively with team members in both languages to ensure clear understanding of expectations and procedures
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping, custodial services, or related fields with a focus on team management and leadership
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, sanitation practices, and safety regulations
- Hands-on experience with janitorial equipment, laundry services, and hospitality housekeeping operations
- Strong managerial communication skills to provide clear instructions and feedback in both languages
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Prior experience managing sanitation management systems or cleaning & sanitation protocols in busy environments
- Familiarity with customer service principles to ensure positive interactions with clients or residents
