Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. As a Host, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will ensure smooth seating arrangements, efficient reservation management, and exceptional guest experiences. This role is vital in setting the tone for a memorable dining experience and supporting our team in delivering outstanding hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their visit
- Manage restaurant reservations using table management systems
- Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, handling reservation inquiries and guest questions clearly and efficiently
- Maintain organized waitlists and seating charts to maximize table utilization and minimize wait times
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest satisfaction
- Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions and station areas
Skills
- Proven experience as a Host or hostess in a restaurant setting, with strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow seamlessly
Must be available Friday and Saturday evenings and holidays
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
