Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules..
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide on-site activities accurately.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and manage procurement processes..
- Enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA, company, and local laws and standards; conduct regular safety inspections on-site.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure adherence to contracts, scope of work, and quality control standards.
- Use proper communication skills to relay all information to supervisor and subordinates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in general construction.
- Demonstrated management skills with supervising experience in diverse construction environments.
- Knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations and ability to enforce safety standards effectively.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
