Job Overview
This person will be a liaison between the Business Units and IT to support ongoing and upcoming initiatives that require extensive requirements validation, quality assurance, and design confirmation.
Work Location: This is Hybrid Position. The applicant is expected to work onsite. Location at least two days per week; 335 Adam Street, Suite 2300 Brooklyn, NY 11201
Work Schedule: Candidates must be available to work from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM eastern Time.
Scope of Services:
- Translate business needs into requirements for a technical audience, including creating user stories, synthesizing use cases, defining acceptance criteria, and documenting feature overviews
- Work within a cross-functional team to ensure the solutions meets business and customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Support project management activities including planning, testing, and implementation.
- Analyze data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Participate in and support interactions with clients to collect business requirements and drive product adoption
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into detailed functional and technical designs.
- Serve as a point of contact for product feature clarification and internal consulting.
- Support stakeholders in defining business objectives and value to effectively prioritize the product backlog
- A minimum of three (3) professional references are required for each candidate and must be included at the time of submission.
Mandatory Skills/Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on legacy replacement systems and workflow development projects

- Ability to facilitate JAD sessions and one-on-one meetings with User(s), work independently on strategic issues with stakeholders, effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Ability to define test scenarios and conditions, create test plans and facilitates testing according to plan in support of UAT.
