Over the Top Learning Center (OTTLC) is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our team!

We are seeking someone who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working with toddlers, and is committed to helping children reach developmental milestones through play, structure, and meaningful relationships.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment for children ages 2 1/2 to 3 years old.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Follow the daily classroom schedule, including learning activities, meals, outdoor play, naps, diapering, potty training, and transitions.
- Provide active supervision at all times to ensure children's safety and well-being.
- Build positive relationships with children by encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills.
- Use positive guidance and redirection techniques to support appropriate behavior.
- Complete diapering, potty training, feeding, and other caregiving responsibilities
- while maintaining proper sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience working in a childcare center, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is preferred.
- A genuine love for working with toddlers and supporting their development.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and meet Alabama DHR employment requirements.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire).

Expected Schedule:
- Monday–Friday (35+hours)
- No weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
